I am a second generation home builder. I began framing houses at age 14 and started my own Frame Carpentry business shortly after graduating from the Citadel in 1991 and completing United States Army Officer's Basic Course in 1992. I specialized in framing custom homes on Kiawah, Seabrook, Hilton Head, Cashiers, Highlands, Charleston and throughout the coastal communities of SC. I started my current custom home building operation in 1998.
I have a great relationship with many Architects, Engineers and the Island communities. I recently completed two projects on Kiawah. Last year I had a house on the Gibbes Museum Tour of Kiawah Homes. I will begin another one on Kiawah in April. I am also a Guild member in the I'On Community of Mt. Pleasant and will complete a 2800 sf home there this month. I usually do 2 or 3 custom homes "turn key" a year. I still frame homes for other builders as well. I can additonally accomadate several "Dry In" jobs each year.
And on a personal, but no less relevant, note, the thing that I am most proud of is that I am married to a heroic woman of epic beauty who is the Mother of my 7 beautiful children.
Well, it is like a marriage where divorce is not an option: a relationship built on hard work, loving commitment, communication, honesty, trust, respect, good decisions, willing sacrifice and the Grace of God. In short, I consider it is a privilege to be at your service and want you to love your home. I will use my experience and expensive post graduate field training to guide you safely through the realization of the home we have planned, budgeted and built together. Or, if you rather, ya'll can go to the Bahamas for 9 months and it will be ready when you get back.
